A Love Bloomed Chapter 6

                    A  Love Bloomed: chapter 6 “Just you and me tonight"
Shadow let out one last chuckle under his breathe before hanging the golden phone up. He glanced up back at the bathroom door were Amy still was. He did a small snicker and whispered to himself, “Amy…tonight’s a night you’ll never forget” He toke his time walking back over to the closet and grabbing a pair of baggy gray sweats and a pair of socks. No shirt.
He slowly pulled them on while removing his gloves and shoes. He throwed his shoes and gloves into a pile in the corner of his night stand. He plopped himself onto the king sized bed and made himself comfortable by folding one arm around the back of his head, while another holding a remote and flipping through channels. He let out a heavy sigh. “What’s taken her so damn long?”
“I wonder if Shadow minds if I borrowed this for a short while.” Amy thought to herself. She had just found Shadow’s jacket sitting on the bathroom counter. It was large enough to fit 3 people in it! It was made of satin leather that was from India. The fur around the collar was silky smooth with white around it which suited Shadow’s white chest fur. Large and warm as it was, Amy couldn’t help but wonder why this was in here. “He should have seen it before he told me to come in here.” Amy grabbed the jacket and pulled it up to her dripping body. Gawking at the reflection of herself, she thought of why this insecure, closed minded, mysterious hedgehog was really up too.
“Agh!” she let out. He can sometimes be so unpredictable most of the time. But Amy didn’t even try to argue with herself, she just pulled on the jacket and twirled in the mirror admiring her modeling poses. “Tehehe..” she giggled. “I guess it’s not all bad. I mean, I’ll be able to spend some time with him while I’m stuck here, maybe even get to know what he’s been up to all these years.”
She slouched to the floor with her bare butt on the cold tile floor ignoring the stings. Her head in her hands thinking about all the things that have happened through out the years. She sighed happily but yet sadly to her self from her own considerations. But suddenly, she was interrupted by something tickling her feet. Then her leg calf. The feeling was beginning to crawl up her, literally.
She peeked through her fingers and found that it was small bug with long antennas and feelers. She completely toke her hands away and found a cockroach on knee.
Eyes widening she let her feeling out, “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!”. Shadow had fallen asleep while watching tv and then was suddenly startled by Amy's shreak of terror. He flinched from the bed and fell flat on his face on the ground while hitting his head on the night stand. "Ow! What the hell happened!?" He rubbed his head while trying to force his eyes open. He glanced back up to the door and spotted only a wet, pink femlae running out like crazy!
Amy ran out as quickly as possible with only the jacket covering her bare body. Water dripped onto the carpet and the jacket became socked. The male hedgehog blushed harder then he did in the lobby. His cheeks were almost burning red hot! His heart pounded at the thoughts of Amy like that. Wet, dripping, naked mostly. He smacked himself in the head real fast with a quick swift of his fist. "Agh!!! Get a hold of yourself you idiot! Don't think about Amy that way you pervert!Wait! Why am I thinking that way anyway?"
"Shadow, get over here now!" Amy stood on a stool with here pika pika hammer gripped tightly in her fist and knees bent to a 90 degree angle. She swung it from left to right trying to make it go away instead of approach her even more. She began to make puppy noises through her teeth. Shadow stood there in a daze still thinkin' of Amy back then. He shook his head furiously and then walked over taking his time. "Will you hurry up!" Amy demanded. He bend down, placed the roach in his hand, and let it out the window. Shadow looked over his shoulder peeping at Amy and her scared face over a little cockroach. He chuckled a little trying to hold it in, but it was too late, he burst with laughter like she did with him and the mudd puddle. Arms crossed over his about-to-be exploding gut with cheeks as red at a rose.
Amy jsut went back in the bathroom with stomping feet and slammed the door shut! She let out a short "Hmph!"
Several minutes had past and Amy was still in the bathroom 'changing'. The steak and shampane had finally avvirved by the mexcian hedgehog. "Oh senor Shadow, is everything fine for you and who ver you are with" he tried to peep in the room looking for the mysterious woman he heard so much about. The black hedgehog got iratted but his noisness and just grabbed the tray and bottle and shut the door in his face. The mexican did not leave though, he mumbled through the door hoping Shadow would hear. "Do what she want's senor! She'll love that!"
Unforuantley he did hear it. His eyes widened and a sweat drop emerged from his for head. "Go away! It's non of your business anyway!!"
"What ever you say senor..." he smirked to himself and went off humming to himself to the next room doing a conga line dance with only himslef in it. "Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight... Shadow!" He burst of a small chuckle from his own joke and went on to the next room.
Shadow ignored his remark and wen to bed and sat at the end of it. His head was looking down at the ground with his hands clenched together and his elbows on his knees. "Calm down, boy" he said to himself. "That damn 'senor' doesent even know Amy all that well anyway."
The door creeped open with only a black figure appearing towards him. In the corner of his eye, he spotted Amy wearing the sweats and T-shirt he gave her. For someone who was ordinary, Amy sure looked dazzling even in PJ's. Atleast to Shadow she did.
He raised his head ever so slowly and grinned at Amy. The pink hedgehog was still embarassed from before about the jacket, so she finally asked to talk about something else.
"Alright Shadow" she put her hands on her hips and walked over to him like a model "what do you have planned?"
He raised himself hovering over her. His eyes were sparkling with glimpse of a small twinkle in it. He put a hand on her cheek gently rubbing it with the tips of his fingers. "I just thought I would suprise you with a little supper, that's all."
She turned her head over to the table and saw the candles lit ,the fresh food, and drinks sparkling with the fizz rising from it. She looked back at Shadow amazed he did that for her, even for just one night.
"Come on" Shadow grabbed Amy by the wrist, gliding her to the seat. He used his manners and offered her a seat next to the window were it was pouring diamonds more then harsh rain. She toke the offer, since she loved the sight."This is so beautiful Shadow... I don't know what to say about all this." Amy grinned happily at Shadow who had now token his seat across the table.The silence did not go on for very long until Shadow finally popped the question to her. he cleared his throat and began. "Amy.."
"Yes Shadow?"
He leaned over the table with there faces only inches apart from one another. "I need to ask you something."
